Yes. Open the upgrade page and pick the variant you want. Your new billing interval takes effect at your next renewal, and any unused time is prorated automatically by our payment processor.
Yes. Cancel from the Polar customer portal (link in your billing receipt email). You keep access through the end of your paid period — no surprise charges.

Sign up for a free X developer account at developer.x.com, create a project + app, generate the 4 required keys (API key, API secret, Access token, Access token secret), and paste them into Settings → X Credentials in Azzani U Writer.

Yes. All 4 keys are encrypted at rest with Fernet (AES-128-CBC + HMAC-SHA256) before being written to the database. They are only decrypted in memory at the moment a post is published.
We run a daily verification job on every account. If your X credentials fail verification, we automatically pause your schedules and email you so you don't burn through quota on errors.
Common causes: regenerated keys in the X dashboard, revoked app access, or an expired X developer account. Re-paste the new keys in Settings to resume.
Uploading source material and AI processing.
We accept .pdf and .docx for books, and any YouTube URL for videos. EPUB and Markdown support is on the roadmap.
Books up to 50 MB upload successfully on all paid plans. Larger files usually compress well — try saving the PDF with reduced image quality if you hit the limit.
Most books finish in 1–3 minutes. Large reference books (500+ pages with images) can take up to 10 minutes. You can navigate away during processing — we'll continue in the background.
Paste a YouTube URL and we automatically pull the transcript, chunk it into post-sized segments, and queue them for scheduling. Maximum video length depends on your plan (typically 60–120 minutes per video).
Built-in AI is included with every subscription and powers post generation by default — no extra setup, no extra cost.
OpenRouter is optional. Add your own OpenRouter API key in Settings to use stronger models (Claude, GPT, etc.) for richer post generation. You pay OpenRouter directly for usage.
Schedules, time zones, quotas, and post types.
You define a set of posting times (in your local time zone) and select the book or video to draw from. Our scheduler runs every minute and publishes the next chunk whenever the current time matches a slot.
Free trial: 5 posts total. Pro: a generous monthly cap. Unlimited: no cap at all. See the pricing page for exact numbers — these are kept in sync with whatever's in the database.
Each plan has a hard ceiling on posts per day (e.g. 50/day) to protect your X account from rate-limit issues. The cap resets at midnight in your local time zone.
Single tweets, threads (multi-tweet stories), and long-form X articles. You pick your default in Settings; each schedule can override.
Yes. Generated posts appear in your dashboard before their scheduled time — you can edit, regenerate, or skip any of them.
Data handling, encryption, and access control.
Only you. Every record is owned by your user account and queries are scoped to the authenticated user — no cross-account access is possible.
API keys (X and OpenRouter) are encrypted at rest with Fernet. Passwords are hashed with Django's PBKDF2 default. All HTTP traffic uses TLS (HTTPS).
